Mondo d Oro in Neunkirchen

We stayed 3 nights in July 2019 for two. The place is nice and the cuisine of an excellent standard. And considering the category and the price are not indifferent merits. The room was huge (at least for four). The only flaw (written in many other reviews) is the problem of the bathroom in the room: the shower is small, uncomfortable and "floods" the bathroom a little. But it is a small defect in the midst of many advantages ....

Hotel, bar, restaurant and pizzeria. The pizza is very good, but restaurant dishes also defend themselves well. The staff is friendly and the bar service is no less than that of the restaurant, whether it is for a breakfast, an aperitif or a simple drink during the day. If the bar space inside is small, the exact opposite can be said for the outdoor area, very large and beautiful with mountain views and in the summer, the sun kisses you in the face in the morning.

The pizza would have been good if it had been cooked and then .... why do they persist in indicating on the menu, and making you pay, the price of the one-liter bottle of water if they then bring you the 750 ml bottle? Each time we should point this out and discuss ....

Excellent structure considered the very small village and pure passage for those who go to Macugnaga .. clean and welcoming rooms .. very kind staff .. an excellent compromise for those who want to stay a little from Macugnaga with much lower prices

We stayed in this hotel by booking for three nights, but in the end we decided to leave a day earlier as we were not happy. The rooms are very dated, not soundproofed (you could really hear everything), the bathroom was outside the room and some of the fixtures were partially detached from the wall, but the most serious thing we considered is that the rooms were really DIRTY! Obviously, the rooms were not cleaned, in fact when we went to the bathroom there was no toilet paper (there was only the empty cardboard roll) and the bathroom fixtures were dirty with lots of hair and unclean hair. We also found other people's hair and hair on the pillow cases, bed and floor. Furthermore, both in the bathroom and in the room there is a constant unpleasant smell. Being a one-star hotel, we certainly didn't expect modern furnishings or who knows what services, but obviously we demanded hygiene and cleanliness, which unfortunately did not exist! When we mentioned all this to the owner she was not available but on the contrary, she was rather arrogant and rude. We paid the full price for 3 nights at € 300 (although we only had 2 but so it was agreed with the owner) but I repeat that € 300 for such a room and above all for an absent cleaning and lack of hygiene are definitely a theft!! Being a 1-star hotel, it should have focused on the cleanliness of the rooms and the owner's education, but unfortunately neither of these two parameters was satisfied! I will definitely never go back there !!

Don't let the camps scare you. At night it does not strike the hours. Excellent value for money. Tested with half board. Simple and linear dishes, rightly abundant and with good variation.

Nice place and great food but cold staff.ok ok tiny bathroom with shower not at all comfortable. great pizza I had forgotten a pair of designer boots and they told me that if they found something they would let me know .. after 2 months I'm still waiting !!!!

Like being in the family, the staff is always courteous. Simple dishes and home cooking but satisfying the palate 😉, Sandra is a good cook and Alain's pizzas are good. km products. 0. And a big thank you to Barbara.
